Part One - Group teaching in the selected discipline lead by an experienced tutor. During this session each student will work through a variety of songs, learning different techniques and skills as well as musical theory. This is followed by a 10–15-minute break where the students can socialise and eat in the communal area.
Part Two - Band performance workshop in which students put what they’ve learnt into practice by forming bands and playing through the song while being coached by all the tutors. Here they learn how to play together, in time and in harmony, and develop the confidence to perform and express themselves.
